Israel atacó objetivos de Hamas en Franja de Gaza
Fue en represalia al lanzamiento de “globos explosivos” desde territorio palestino.
El ejército de Israel atacó con helicópteros y artillería varias instalaciones del Movimiento de Resistencia Islámica de Palestina ( Hamas) en la Franja de Gaza, en represalia al lanzamiento de “globos incendiarios” desde el enclave palestino hacia su territorio.
“Durante la última semana se lanzaron globos explosivos” desde la franja y “en respuesta aviones de combate, helicópteros y tanques atacaron varios objetivos terroristas de Hamas”, informó el ejército israelí en un comunicado.
Las autoridades israelíes ya habían anunciado el cierre por un período indeterminado de tiempo del paso de Karem Shalom, uno de los puntos de entrada de mercancías entre Israel y la Franja de Gaza, por el que, asegura el régimen de Tel Aviv, “seguirá transitando ayuda humanitaria esencial y carburante”.
Durante el raid, un helicóptero israelí habría atacado por error los propios asentamientos (ilegales) cerca de la asediada Franja de Gaza.
En el anuncio de las medidas Israel acusó a Hamas, en el poder en Gaza, de estar detrás de estos lanzamientos, por lo cual dijeron que “aviones de combate, helicópteros de ataque y tanques atacaron un cierto número de objetivos de la organización palestina en la franja.
Los servicios de bomberos en el sur de Israel dijeron que los globos provocaron 60 incendios solo el martes, pero nadie resultó herido.
Hamas, en respuesta, criticó lo que calificó de medida “agresiva” que muestra la “insistencia” de Israel de “asediar” a la población del enclave, de dos millones de habitantes, reforzado desde 2007, cuando esa organización accedió al gobierno local de Gaza.
