Un tren chocó en Once: hay 400 heridos
Más de 400 personas resultaron heridas esta mañana luego de que un tren de la Línea Sarmiento chocara en la estación Once, donde varias personas continúan atrapadas.
El accidente se produjo minutos antes de las 8:30, cuando la formación, que cumplía el recorrido con Moreno, no frenó en su ingreso a la terminal y chocó.
"Hay más de 400 heridos", confirmó a Radio 10 el titular del SAME, Alberto Crescenti , en medio de las tareas para asistir a los lesionados, muchos de los cuales fueron derivados a los hospitales Durán, Ramos Mejía y Rivadavia.
Crescenti, además, afirmó que todavía quedan 60 personas atrapadas dentro los primeros vagones de la formación.
En el lugar continúan con las tareas de rescate, además del SAME, los bomberos y efectivos de la Policía, que intentan sacar a varios de los pasajeros que aún permanecen atrapados entre los hierros de los vagones siniestrados.
El secretario de Transporte de la Nación, Juan Pablo Schiavi, informó que el tren ingresó a 26 kilómetros por hora a la terminal de Once y señaló que el siniestro podría haberse producido por un "desperfecto en los frenos"
El maquinista del tren, de apellido Córdoba, fue retirado de la formación y trasladado en una ambulancia a un hospital porteño con varias heridas, luego de permanecer más de 30 minutos atrapados en la cabina.
Un testigo del hecho señaló que por el accidente hay tres vagones montados uno sobre otro. "Hay lastimados por todos lados", dijo a C5N.
