Violenta reyerta en Piñero: cinco presos con graves quemaduras
El incidente se produjo en el pabellón donde están alojados los acusados por delitos contra la integridad sexual. Tres de los heridos están en terapia intensiva.
Cinco internos de la cárcel de Piñero ingresaron este martes con quemaduras al Hospital de Emergencias Clemente Alvarez (Heca) tras un violento incidente ocurrido en un pabellón de penitenciaría ubicada en el cruce de la ruta provincial 14 y la nacional A012. Tres de los reclusos permanecen internados en la sala de terapia intensiva y dos en el sector de quemados.
El incidente se produjo alrededor de las 10, en el pabellón donde están alojados los acusados de delitos contra la integridad sexual. De acuerdo a las primeras informaciones a las que accedió La Capital, el hecho se habría desencadenado tras la entrega de paquetes que reciben los internos.
Por causas que se están investigando se produjo una pelea en el interior del pabellón que terminó con cinco reclusos heridos con quemaduras por fuego directo. Tras el episodio, desde el Servicio Penitenciario se activaron los protocolos de emergencia para el traslado de los heridos.
Jorge Bitar, director del Heca, indicó a este diario que un total de cinco internos llegaron desde la cárcel de Piñero, todos con quemaduras por fuego directo.
“Se trata de cinco internos, todos afectados por fuego directo, uno de los cuales tiene un 70 por ciento del cuerpo con quemaduras profundas, con compromisos de la vía aérea que está en terapia intensiva”, manifestó.
“Otro interno tiene quemaduras en el 30 por ciento del cuerpo, las que afectaron el rostro, las manos y la vía aérea y está en terapia. Un tercer interno está igual internado en la zona de críticos de la guardia y hay dos detenidos con quemaduras en rostro y mano y sin compromiso de vía aérea”, indicó el facultativo a La Capital, quien destacó que en el caso de los tres primeros existe riesgo de vida.
“Desconocemos cómo fue la mecánica del incidente. Estamos organizándonos, estamos esperando a ver si llegan más víctimas”, dijo Bitar.
